Hi all, I’m Robi and I’ve been working on my research project, employment skills webinars and High School Equivalency classes.
8:30am: I start my day by checking my email and filling in my time sheet for the previous day.
9:00am: I hop on to the Education Team’s Daily Briefing, where we discuss data on client enrollment and the effectiveness of previous webinars.
10:00am -11:00am: I spend the morning co-facilitating a webinar with Emily, another fellow. The webinar focuses on juggling social responsibilities with work and maintaining a work-lifestyle fit. 17 clients attend and participants are really engaged with the idea of assessing priorities to ensure a work-life fit and time for self-care.
11:30am-12:30pm: I attend a talk facilitated by Rachel, another fellow, to discuss her research project focused on job retention.
12:30pm-1:30pm: Time to eat lunch with my mom!
2pm: I edit and practice my upcoming Pre-HSE (High School Equivalency) social studies webinar focused on preparing clients for the social studies section of the high school equivalency test and discussing the parallels between 1920 and the present day.
4:30: Time to clock out and walk my dog!
